Spray Paint!
This past week Joe, Hillary, Ben, and I went to Baybrook for another art project. Before we began working with the kids, we arrived about two hours early to canvas the neighborhood. We visited several local businesses and spread the word about our event. The people that we were able to talk to seemed very positive and excited. We also receieved a donation of ten dollars. After this we headed over to the community garden. This time the task was to spray paint tires. We were also able to make stencils and paint with actual paint brushes. Only several kids came out to this event. However, a local politician and parents did visit the community garden. We were able to interact with one another and talk about our event. AAlthough the turn out was not as large as the first few art projects, it was still a productive and fun day.
